Management Team

The AAGI management team brings a unique blend of experience from the automotive, administrative and insurance industry. Our team is committed to providing superior products and personalized service to AAGI’s customers.

Al Ranieri, President

A CPA with over 30 years of insurance experience, Al provides overall coordination and management direction. He is a CPA and CPCU. Al has been both a Chief Executive Officer and a Chief Financial Officer of several insurance companies. 

Tim Brugh, Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Has over 15 years experience in the automobile and insurance industry. In addition to handling the day-to-day sales and marketing functions, Tim oversees the design and development of new AAGI products and marketing materials.

Jim Devers, Chief Operating Officer

With over 30 years of insurance experience, Jim has held senior positions in the insurance industry, including direct ownership of a vehicle service contract administration company and Chief Financial Officer of an insurance company. Jim directs accounting, IT, office administration, HR, processing, sales support, data administration, and all claim departments.

Mark Cohen, General Counsel

Mark, an attorney, has over 30 years experience with the insurance industry and with the administration of automobile aftermarket products. Mark’s responsibilities include management of the legal and compliance departments as well as oversight of joint venture partners. 

Marge Kolozsy, Vice President, Processing

A processing specialist with over 25 years experience in the management of large scale automobile aftermarket processing functions. Marge handles system implementation and processing management.

Jeff Teuscher, Northeast Regional Vice President of Sales

With over 25 years experience in the vehicle service contract industry, Jeff has progressed from retail F&I Manager through all facets of the F & I industry.  Prior to joining AAGI in February 2003, Jeff held positions including F & I training instructor, aftermarket insurance agency owner and several executive positions in the vehicle service contract industry.  Jeff’s responsibilities with AAGI include the management of the agent certification training, as well as, managing the northeast region of the country.

Bob Asthon, Southeast Regional Vice President of Sales

Bob has over 20 years experience in the aftermarket insurance, reinsurance, and service contract industry. Bob will be responsible for managing and developing the southeastern region of the country.

Michael Flynn, Western Regional Vice President of Sales

With over 28 years in the service contract business, Michael has had extensive experience in the development, management and servicing of a national independent agent network. Michael’s responsibilities with AAGI include managing the western region of the country.

Bernie Miraglia, Sales Manager

With over 34 years experience in the vehicle service contract and F & I development industry, Bernie works in our home office assisting our national sales team with our agents across the country. As part of AAGI’s sales management, Bernie specializes in EWT, and our dealer direct marketing program.  

Kristen Gruber, Director of Product Development

Kristen is a CPCU with over 15 years of product management and underwriting experience working for a major insurance company and general agency. Her responsibilities include the creation of new products and coordinating the related distribution.
