AAGI’s F&I Certification School is a comprehensive course offered through a strategic partnership with Gerry Gould & Associates. Held at AAGI's Chicagoland headquarters, it presents a complete F&I foundation for those new to the business or those who need a refresher, in order to create a stream of qualified F&I professionals, knowledgeable dealership management, and dealers of the future.

Gerry has over three decades of automotive sales and management experience. He spent the first phase of his career as a sales consultant for franchise dealers in New Hampshire and Massachussets, and swiftly moved through the ranks of virtually all front-end management positions. In 1996, Gerry joined the team of David Lewis & Associates, where he dedicated his knowledge and experience to training others. Following a successful tenure, he relocated to Florida in 2002 to act as Regional F&I Director for AutoNation, the nation's largest automotive retailer. In 2009, he became Director of Training for United Development Systems, a well-established general agency focused on F&I performance and development. Through the years Gerry has held and presented hundreds of workshops for groups and conferences related to automotive front-end operations, crafted several Sales and F&I Management training programs, and authored numerous articles in industry journals and publications.
Focuses on the typical duties, responsibilities and standard procedures required to maintain high levels of F&I efficiency.
Provides partipants with an overview of dealership laws and regulations, in prepartion to act in a legally compliant manner.
Focuses on the essential F&I principles and practices required to maximize opportunities and succeed in today’s social media environment.
Uses group exercises and interactive roleplay to master the three key areas that make for a streamlined F&I menu/option presentation.
Delivers a more efficient presentation intended to improve customer adherence thereby increasing customer satisfaction, product sales and profits.
Presents a non-confrontational process for post-presentation engagement that gets more customers saying, "yes, I’ll take it."
Designed to expand knowledge of automotive leasing and reveal the profit potential often overlooked on lease transactions.
Provides a better understanding of how credit works, and improve lender relations that result in better callbacks and approvals.
Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements. The area hotels below offer special rates for AAGI.
Early Bird Registration is $895, available to those who register and send payment at least 30 days in advance. Standard Registration is $995. Your registration is not complete, and your place in the class is not secured, until AAGI has received your registration fee in full. All payments must be received no later than one week prior to your class start date.
Both hotels listed offer Grab-N-Go breakfast. Lunch will be provided each day of the training; please list any dietary restrictions in your registration.
Send a check marked "F&I Certification School" and payable to American Auto Guardian Inc. to AAGI c/o Office Administration, 1700 East Golf Road Suite 700, Schaumburg, IL 60173. All attendees will receive a confirmation via email with details about the class, and a pre-class study guide one week prior to the start of class.
